Hi there Webbies! I haven’t written in a few days, but that doesn’t mean things aren’t going on. Yesterday saw the installation of a new lawn at my home. This was due to the fact that the Fox and I had ignored the lawn since we bought the house last year. You know the part in Oklahoma where they talk about the corn being as high as an elephant’s eye? Well I’m not sure how tall an elephant is (Hello Wikipedia?) but we got at least two different weeds that topped seven feet. They were Monster Weeds and nothing could stand in there way. They were both prickly and I think different members of the dandelion family. Now they are gone though and lovely, lovely grass has replaced them. We still need to get the front of the property and the side yard de-weed-afied, which can wait though.
One of the things I have been having a hankering for is Jake in the Box’s teriyaki chicken bowl. What you say my webbies; I have never had such a thing? Well is a pity for you my online pals. Long, long ago in a California town far, far away (apologies to George Lucas) I used to get a styrofoam bowl filled with mushy, stick rice, nearly invisible strips of chicken, shoestring carrots, and broccoli. All of it was lightly covered in a light teriyaki sauce and I could get it at a drive-thru window with packets of soy-sauce. It was delicious. It was cheap. They stopped making it. I am ever so sad about this. So please Mr. Jack, sir, please. PLEASE! Bring back your teriyaki chicken bowl. I promise I will buy lots of it. And I urge all you webbies out there to get it to. It’s got to be better for you then a burger right?
Keep Surfing Webbies and may all your Imaginings be Fertile!
